Terms of Service
Last updated: 19 August 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and HARUDA about using our app and website. We've kept them as short and readable as we can.
Accepting these terms
By creating an account or using HARUDA, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
Who can use HARUDA
You must be at least 13 years old. If you're under the age of majority where you live, you need a parent or guardian's permission. You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity that happens under your account.
HARUDA is not medical advice
This is the most important thing on this page. HARUDA is a meal-planning tool. It is not a medical device, and it does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
Meal plans are generated from information you provide and from general nutritional data. They are suggestions, not prescriptions. They may not be appropriate for your particular medical situation.
Always consult a qualified healthcare provider about your health conditions, medications, and before making significant changes to your diet — especially if you are pregnant, managing a chronic condition such as diabetes, kidney disease, or heart disease, have a history of disordered eating, or take medication affected by food.
Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of something you read in HARUDA. If you think you may have a medical emergency, contact your doctor or emergency services immediately.
Accuracy of nutritional information
We work hard to keep food and nutrition data accurate, and we correct problems when we find them. Even so, nutritional data comes from third-party and public sources and can contain errors. Allergen information in particular may be incomplete — if you have a food allergy, always verify ingredients directly rather than relying on HARUDA.
Your account and content
You keep ownership of the information you put into HARUDA. You grant us the permission we need to store and process it in order to run the service, as described in our Privacy Policy. You're responsible for the accuracy of what you provide — plans built on wrong information will be wrong.
Acceptable use
Please don't:
- Use HARUDA for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or another person's account
- Scrape, copy, or resell our content or data
- Reverse engineer the app except where the law expressly permits it
- Interfere with or disrupt the service
- Misrepresent yourself or impersonate anyone else
Subscriptions and payment
Some features may require a paid subscription. If so, pricing and billing terms will be shown clearly before you purchase. Subscriptions bought through the Apple App Store or Google Play are billed and managed by that store under its terms, and refunds are handled according to that store's policy. Cancel through your store account settings.
Changes to the service
We may add, change, or remove features as HARUDA develops. If we discontinue the service entirely, we'll give reasonable notice and a way to export your data.
Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time from within the app. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that we reasonably believe pose a risk to other users or to HARUDA.
Disclaimers
HARUDA is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that meal plans will achieve any particular health or weight outcome.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, HARUDA and its team will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or fifty US dollars.
Some jurisdictions don't allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold HARUDA harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of the service or your violation of these terms or of applicable law.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be brought in the state or federal courts located in California, unless the law where you live requires otherwise. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms and will revise the "last updated" date. For material changes we'll give notice in the app or by email. Continuing to use HARUDA after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
